Tomato Egg Drop Soup

Ingredients

  • 2 fresh vine tomatoes

  • 1 quart chicken broth

  • 4 cups water

  • 3 large eggs

  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

  • Salt to taste

Directions

  • Pour chicken stock and water into medium size pot. Turn heat to high.
  • Wash tomatoes and cut off stems. Cut tomatoes into 1 inch chunks and then add to pot.
  • Crack eggs into a small bowl and then beat.
  • When soup comes to a boil, stir pot of soup in a circular motion and slowly add eggs to soup. Add sesame oil and stir gently. Finally, add salt to taste and then serve.
